Make two conditioner bars at home with pre-measured ingredients and a step-by-step card, in 3 simple steps. Each bar is about 65 g and lasts 2–3 months. A heartfelt handmade gift for Thanksgiving and the holidays, or a little hair ritual for yourself.

— What's in your kit —

▪ Emulsifying blend (BTMS-50, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid): 85 g
▪ Oil jar: camellia oil 17 g & cocoa butter 25 g
▪ Hair care jar: D-panthenol 2 g & wheat protein 4 g
▪ Sweet orange essential oil (optional): 1 g, in a twist tube
▪ Stainless steel spoon
▪ 2 molds
▪ Step-by-step instruction card

You'll also need: a heat-safe cup (at least 300 ml) and a pot for a water bath. A thermometer is helpful but not required.

3-Step Instructions

1. Melt: Pour the emulsifying blend and the oil jar contents into your cup. Heat in a hot water bath, stirring now and then, until melted.

2. Boost: Let it cool for about 2 minutes, then pour in the hair care jar contents and stir until even.

3. Scent & set: Add the essential oil (optional), pour into the molds, and let set for about 2 hours. Pop the bars out.

Cautions

- Hot ingredients: Melted ingredients and hot water can cause burns. Adults only, and keep away from children.

- Contains wheat: Includes hydrolyzed wheat protein. Not suitable if you are allergic to wheat.

- Essential oil is optional: Do a patch test before use. Skip it if you have sensitive skin or fragrance allergies.

- For external use on hair only. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse well with water if contact occurs, and stop use if irritation develops.

- Use tools just for crafting: Don't reuse the cup, spoon, or pot for food afterward.

- Storage: Keep bars in a cool, dry place and let them dry between uses.
